Marine Care is a Dutch based company specialized in development and production of cleaning and maintenance solutions for the Marine Industry (including Cruise). Our main office, based in Rotterdam, was built in 2018 and has an R&D Facility, state of the art offices and meeting rooms and over 2000 m2 of storage for dangerous goods. With a team of 15 people we currently serve our customers 24/7, which means we are a dynamic and flexible organization. Besides end customers, the Rotterdam office is also the main hub for our other subsidiaries in Bergen (Norway), Miami and Singapore, adding 20 – 25 colleagues to the team in Rotterdam. For immediate support of our operations team in the Botlek, Rotterdam, Marine Care is looking for two candidates:

Sales & Global Port Operations Coordinator – 40 hours/week + 1 x per 4 weeks standby duty

In this role you work in a small and young team that handles international requests for quotation and order from both Marine Care offices and direct customers. With the team, you see to it that deliveries are made 7 days a week to ships in ports in all corners of the world. You are in contact with your local (technical) support team, international suppliers and transport companies.  This means that you have to be comfortable in a constant dynamic and commercial environment. Preferably you already live in the greater Rotterdam area.

Required personal skills: Ability to handle daily stress situations and work accurately at the same time. Outgoing personality and positive attitude, easily adjusting to changing situations, supportive to colleagues, suppliers, drivers and other third party persons calling the office on a daily basis.

Required Education: MBO+ /HBO Sales/Operations/Logistics preferably related to Maritime Studies – successfully completed or HBO level acquired through experience in this environment.

Required Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a maritime related environment in the areas of  Sales and Operations. Good command of Dutch and English both verbally as well as in writing.

Accounting assistant – 20 hours/week preferably spread over 4 or 5 days

In this role you support the financial structure of the Marine Care Group. You handle both credit and debit side of the business, so you are in contact with our international offices, suppliers and customers. You work in a small team consisting out of the Office Manager, Accounting Supervisor and the CEO. Preferably you already live in the greater Rotterdam area.

Required personal skills: Work accurately. Outgoing personality and positive attitude, easily adjusting to changing situations, supportive to colleagues.

Required Education: Basic education in Bookkeeping/Accounting or having acquired same through experience in the working fields.

Required Work Experience: 3 years of experience in a maritime related environment in the area of Bookkeeping/Accounting. Good command of Dutch and acceptable knowledge of English both verbally as well as in writing.
