Roles & Responsibilities:
- Handling global inquiries and providing after sales assistance
- Liaising and negotiating with both customers and suppliers on price, delivery and conditions
- Coordinate delivery orders and support agents, distributors and satellite offices
- Sharing stock information, local supply situations, customer needs etc. with the Sales & Port Coordination Team (Operations department)
Requirements:
- Ability to handle daily stress situations and work accurately at the same time
- Fluent in English, both verbal and writing
- Not afraid to be pro-active and take tough decisions in order to make delivery within given lead time
- Outgoing personality and positive attitude, easily adjusting to changing situations, supportive to colleagues, suppliers, other third-party persons calling the office on a daily basis
- Able to understand nuances and cultural impacts on global trade.
- Ideal position for a candidate who is ambitious and able to work in an independent environment
- Willing to work 1 week per month in standby duty (after office hours + weekend)
Required education:
HBO/ Bachelor level
Required experience:
- Knowledge of maritime industry and logistics with minimum 1-3 years experience
- Experience with MS Office is mandatory, SAP software is an advantage
- Creative, innovative & out of the box thinking
- Mastering the Dutch and English language fluently
- Shipping Mentality
- Improvisation skills
Salary indication: € 30-40.000 / year at a full-time basis (incl 8% vacation and 13e month)
Job Type: Full-time (40 hours/week), contract (not via intermediate agency)
